- Funpacking with care! -

Every year, the NDP Funpacks seem to be one of the 'must-have' items. Colours, design and durability aren't the only aspects we have took into consideration. In these tough times, we want to show Singaporeans that we care!

We've been working with Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) to get their subsidiaries to be part of our National Day journey. These people graciously agreed to help by putting the items into the Funpacks =) Remember that behind each Funpack you've received, someone somewhere had packed it!

Thank them!

And do get the special, limited-edition, ultra-cool, must-have Funpack by donating $15 to the ComChest during any of the 5 roadshows. And do a kind deed at the same time... While stocks last!

- Public Health Screening 2009-

NUS Medical Society have kindly agreed to conduct some comprehensive health screenings for those aged 21 years old and above at the AMK Hub from 29 August to 30 August.
(Haha, means we're not eligible...since we're under 21 o.o' )
Do drop by with your family and friends to enjoy the free services offered so generously!

There will also be numerous booths set up by the Singapore Heart Foundation, Singapore Cancer Society and Health Promotion Board. Anti-smoking exhibits, smokerlyzer test, free colon cancer screening test kits await!

- Safra Singapore Bay Run 2009 -

Anyone and everyone can participate in this SAFRA Singapore Bay Run (SSBR) and Army Half Marathon (AHM). From the 6 km run, to the 10 km and 21 km half-marathon for the more competitive fellas... That's even a Fun Run for people to take part in, wearing their most fancy costumes!

Our verdict?

This year's National Day goes above and beyond the celebrations. Much effort - it's probably almost impossible for spectators to imagine the hours of effort put in - has been invested in it.

We hope that everyone, everyone, can take part and take charge of Singapore and come together in a big way to show their Care and Concern for each other.
