NDPeeps' main purpose is to give faces to the people behind-the-scenes. Sort of highlighting the efforts of participants so that Singaporeans realise the tremendous efforts put in for one very very special day.

So, there we were, sitting around and thinking of how to give credit to others when we realised, that we ought to credit ourselves too! So we decided to have a series of interviews to tell you more about what's happening behind-the-scenes of NDPeeps =)

So, guys, what made you volunteer your time and energy for NDP'09?

'Cause we want to escape all the exercises? (laughter)
No lah, it's because participating in NDP is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we would really like to seize this opportunity and try something new at the same time too.

So, what exactly does NDPeeps@Flickr do?

More or less, the visual documentation of behind-the-scenes action. To show appreciation for the hard work of the numerous participants, and their determination to make the parade a success.

How do you guys envision NDPeeps@Flickr to reach out to Singaporeans?

Our friends and family, the participants of NDP, and everyone else in general, can upload and download photos of themselves to share their moments with the nation.

How do you feel about your fruit of labour, NDPeeps@Flickr?

Feel like dying from the lethargy? (laughter)
A sense of purpose? We really hope to engage everyone through this year's NDP, to make Singaporeans feel proud of Singapore.

Any memorable incidents?

The time when we stayed awake till 2.30 am to upload a few photos?!
