Kids - they are the future pillars of our society, aren't they... It's imperative that we impart our knowledge to them, guiding them to be the best that they can be, to realise their potential to the fullest.
And this week's Human Touch will focus on the people who worked selflessly and dedicated themselves to children - the childhood educators.
We dropped by Jenius Kindergarden in Hougang and spoke to some of their wonderful teachers there. It was an inspiring experience, to speak to these people and find out what motivates them to pursue teaching as a career, a calling.
'What are some of the challenges faced?'
Miss Lim said that kids nowadays have as much access to information as them and that they have to constantly 'update our knowledge to provide students with guidance', not an easy task to say the least.
'The greatest challenge is to keep having patience with the kids,' says Mdm Angie Chua before continuing,'with this patience, I could bond with the kids and make the learning process fun and exciting.'
'And the greatest satisfaction?'
Look at the way the kids are enthusiastically responding to the Teacher!
From what it seems, the kids are enjoying their lessons at the Kindergarden. Their charming innocence was all it takes for us to fall head-over-heels in love with them. We can tell that the teachers are having as much fun as the kids :)
Strive on, teachers, keep up the good work!
Haha, the children are really cute :-)
